If you have ever had the desire to read the Scriptures in chronological order, here is the whole of Scripture as the consensus of biblical scholars would order them in redemption history. (It is a given, of course, that many portions of Scripture--Job for instance--are very difficult to date).

Thank you so much for this!
ReplyDeleteI used this list to make a playlist for my audio bible that I listen to on my commute to work. Thank you very much!
ReplyDeletethank you very much. that's what I am looking for...
ReplyDeleteI knew the books weren't in order but I didn't realize that specific chapters of books factored into the order. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteLuke 11 is repeated. I believe the one after Matt 11 should be deleted. This leaves the correct 1189 total chapters.
ReplyDelete2 Kings 18:1-8...2 Kings 18-19? Should the second part be 2 Kings 18:9-19?
ReplyDeleteHow can I print the list?
ReplyDeleteI just highlighted the part to print, copied it and then pasted it into a Word Document. I saced it and printed it out.
DeleteLast night, I found that Jeremiah 24-27 (at least these) are written backwards. it's suppose to be 27,26, 25, 24. And the book of Daniel was during this time as well. So I was wondering if anyone had the correct order. I'll use this as a guideline to make proper changes.
ReplyDeleteWhy is 1Chron.9 deals with the return from exile which happens after the Kings. Why is it listed before the exile to Babylon?
ReplyDeleteThaanks great blog
